Our litigation services are structured to provide aggressive representation at a reasonable cost. SVL is aware that we must understand the client’s goals and objectives in regards to each specific case. We work closely with our clients to understand how they may be impacted by the outcome of the litigation and to develop appropriate strategies that are tailored to each client’s goals and objectives.
The type of litigation we handle includes the following: contract disputes with vendors; disputes under commercial leases; commercial real estate disputes; actions to obtain or clear title to property; and defense of forfeiture proceedings. We also represent our clients in defense of claims brought under consumer protection statutes including the TCPA, FCRA, FDCPA, TILA, and the Florida Consumer Collections Practices Act. In addition, we handle investigations into fraud and fraudulent schemes and then pursue litigation in regards to those schemes to recover damages and money owed to our clients. Examples of these fraudulent schemes include, check-kiting, employee embezzlement and/or dishonesty, and fraud by third party vendors (like automobile dealerships).
